Welcome to Uppsala Marathon on October 17, 2026, Uppsala's very own marathon and half marathon event, where we prioritize the experience! You can choose to run around a lake for 5.5 km, a neighboring lake for 10.5 km, a half marathon around four lakes, or the fun option of running around all six lakes. The event is environmentally friendly and offers a free dip in the lake instead of showers. The start and finish are at Uppsala Castle, and the course is well marked with volunteers at key locations.

- The race is environmentally friendly, which means we avoid single-use cups. You bring your own bottle or cup – or you can get a free reusable cup from us.
